In the older gymnasiums at Wellness Rec Center, 112 high bay fixtures at 500W each were replaced with 80 fluorescent 360W fixtures. Occupancy sensors were also added for each court on the floor. With the way it was installed, you can be on one court in the gym, and the court next to you is not illuminated, therefore saving even more energy. The estimated annual savings for this project is $12,300 (FY11 rates).
