Pesticide Notification Registry

The University of Northern Iowa, in compliance with the Iowa Groundwater Act of 1987 and rules promulgated by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship:

“All commercial or public applicators who apply pesticides within urban areas in municipalities shall post or affix notification signs at the start of the application and for at least 24 hours following the application or longer if required by the reentry directions on the pesticide label(s)."

The university also employs an alternative means of rule compliance that allows for the development of a Pre-notification Registry. Those who properly request inclusion on this registry will be notified in advance of pesticide application plans for university grounds. To be placed on this registry please complete the form below.
