This project was installed to control the amount of ventilation air in the space as needed due to the CO2 levels in the air. This saves on energy as the system is not heating or cooling excess ventilation air into empty classroom spaces.
Conditioning outside air is one of our largest energy users. The estimated annual savings for the project is $4,500 (FY14 rates).
